Sugar Sweet Farm is a family-run, organic, hobby farm in Encinitas, California. We specialize in making magical memories for families while connecting children with animals, their food, and the earth. Amazing things happen every day at Sugar Sweet Farm and we love when our community becomes a part of the magic.
Sugar Sweet Farm offers small-group, guided farm experiences designed to help guests slow down, connect with animals, and enjoy the simple beauty of farm life. Each experience is thoughtfully curated, intentionally paced, and limited in size to ensure a calm, meaningful visit for both guests and animals. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful morning with goats, a gentle farm stroll, or a sweet Valentine outing, we look forward to welcoming you.
We are busy this January planning another incredible Summer Farm Camp program, planting a garden to bless our community, hosting private events, and creating pure, organic, farm-fresh products for our Farm Store. Please reach out if you would like to connect.
Camps
Experience a day on the farm. Campers grow, learn and play through creative, hands-on projects, hikes with llamas, donkey cart rides, crafts, games, gardening, interacting with and caring for the animals, gathering eggs, and much more. We love sharing our passion for nature, animals and farming with children.
CIT Program
The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program at Sugar Sweet Farm is a leadership experience for teens who are ready to grow in responsibility, confidence, and care for others. CIT is designed as a leadership curriculum as much as it is a camp experience. Teens learn by doing—practicing teamwork, empathy, initiative, and problem-solving in a real-world setting—while helping create the warm, safe atmosphere that defines our farm.

I wanted to let you know how fabulous my experience was at Sugar Sweet Farm today. My daughter purchased goat yoga for my birthday (I’m 56!) and it was one of the best gifts and memories ever!
I anticipated chaos but the entire team was so professional, so well organized, and happy to be there that it melted my fears away. They went above and beyond to make it a relaxed yet fun morning. The minute any goat pooped someone ran to clean up, the teacher was fabulous, the staff inviting, the farm was stunning... it couldn’t have been any better!!
In a time where so much hatred and violence is present, this provided a moment of peace, love, and gratitude.

Dear Elizabeth and the entire Sugar Sweet Farm Team,
As the summer draws to a close I want to express my sincere gratitude for each and every one of you.
Earlier in the summer, I wrote a note to Elizabeth to share how impressed I was by everything and that sentiment has not changed. As a camp director myself, I know how hard it is to maintain enthusiasm through the end of the summer; I know how hard it is to stick to the standards set on day 1. You did it!!
You were organized, friendly, and hard-working. You had energy from the start of the day through the end of the day, and you never looked tired, annoyed, or like you wanted to be anywhere else. You didn’t have cell phones!! What a wonderful site!!!
