Casanova: Almost a Big-Boy Llama
Our baby Casanova is growing up! He’s getting bigger, braver, and more independent by the day—although he still thinks Mama is pretty wonderful. Here’s what life looks like for our littlest llama these days:
Biggest accomplishment: Weaning! (This was a very big deal for a boy who really loves his mama.)
Favorite treat: Apples
Bestie / Nemesis: Eloise the pig. It’s complicated.
Who he looks up to: Houdini, one of our magical big boy llamas.
Special talent: A courageous leader on the trail. When the llamas go out for a walk, Casanova is remarkably brave and confident. The other llamas seem to have a lot of respect for their littlest trail leader.
Current obsession: Smelling people’s breath. Casanova likes to get right up close and investigate—apparently he needs to know what flavor toothpaste everyone is using.
Current status: Practicing being a big-boy llama while still being ridiculously adorable.
Most looking forward to: Christmas! Casanova is expecting a brand-new baby brother or sister.
Little llama fact: Baby llamas are called crias—so technically, Casanova is our growing-up cria.
